How it works
Ranked by reviews
Each town page ranks the companies based in the town by their Google rating, weighted by the number of reviews, so a 5.0 from ten reviews does not beat a 4.8 from two hundred.

Checked on the register
We look for every company based in England in the Environment Agency public register of waste carriers. Found so far: 271 of 729. A plate shows the registration number only when we found it.
Prices with a date
We read prices on each company’s own website and show them with the day we read them. Websites read so far: 280, of which 76 publish a price for at least one size.
No company pays for its position. Paid boards are marked “Sponsored” and sit outside the ranking. Ratings read from Google Maps on 1 Nov 2026; Environment Agency register read on 31 Oct 2026; each price with the day we read it.
